Finally a Big Sister

Mama found out today that we're getting a baby girl from Jiangxi Province in China.  I'm from Yongfeng, Jiangxi Province.  When we get her I am going to teach her stuff like how to play with her toys and how to talk.  Mama and I spent 10 hours in the toy room making it safe for a baby, I can't wait to show her.  I can't wait to finally be a big sister.  I love her already.  Everyone is so happy and excited to get another child. 

The amazing weekend

This past weekend we were at a lake for Dad's Birthday and we swam for a long time.  Haley climbed out of the boat and it tipped over and landed over my head.  It really scared me.  Good thing I had a life jacket on.  Mom took a picture of me and Isabel and my nose touched her nose, it was the cutest thing ever.  I got to eat lunch on a very nice beach with a fabulous view.  Mama packed us our own bags so we could eat just us kids.  Rosa was there and at the fire Rosa's Dad Al played the guitar and he played lots of songs that we knew.  He played Puff the Magic Dragon, Walking in a Winter Wonderland, Mr. Golden Sun and way more songs. 

Tina and Dixie enjoyed camping with us and we got to take them outside to explore.  Dixie-poo is an explorer girl.  Tina is timid but she did some exploring too. 

When we came home, Gramma phoned us and then she brought us two birds nests and one of them had four eggs in it that didn't hatch and they won't.  I get to take them to school next year in grade 2 for show and tell. 

I made three new friends at Miracle Beach, that was fun and Mama didn't know I could get to the top of the monkey bars so that was a fun surprise for her. 

Today we swam in our pool that Daddy just put up for us and I'd like to thank him for doing that for us.  It was so fun to get back into our pool.  The water wasn't even cold.

I'm really excited because we just read the Rumor Queen and we might have a chance to get our referral.   I really want to see her picture.  Mama is sooo ready to get her baby.  Dad is happy for Mama that we're getting close.

Paperwork for the baby

Last night Mama made me get rid of some animal friends.  For everyone I gave away, I got to keep one.  It was fun playing in them all.  That's me at the RCMP office  we went there to do some paperwork so we can be ready for when we hear about the baby. 

A day spent with friends

Yesterday Willow & Meiling came over to play and they brought us our pottery that we made at Willow's Birthday party.  Then Daddy got our tiny pool then we got in the pool all together, it was so fun and so cold.  After we got dry and went for dinner, it was so good.  Then we went back home to get the dogs to go for a walk with Willow & Meiling.  We played on the tetter-totters and the swings because there was a playground where we walked.

Last Weekend

Last weekend we made a garden and planted pumpkins, carrots, beans, peas, strawberries, blueberries, asparagus, cucumber, zuchinni, radishs, lettuce, chives, raspberries, lots of flowers and kolrabi.  I enjoyed helping in the garden right up until it started to rain, then Lacie and I went inside.  We watched from the window while I played with Dixie. 

Jade is getting a new sister.  They just got their referral.  Her name is May.  I hope our baby is that cute! 
It's taking way too long to get our referral. 

Isabel

Today Dad brought home his new dog from the SPCA.  She is cute and cuddly and sweet.  Dad adores her.  She has really sharp baby teeth.  I really love playing with her already.  I feel so happy with her.   She is very very sleepy.  She is sooooo cute! 

Mothers Day Tea

Yesterday Lili and I went to Sage's Birthday party.  It was at a farm.  I got to ride a horse without any help and I got my face painted with a picture of a horse.  I got to hold a baby goat by myself and his name was Billy and he ate grass out of my hand.  I was going to hold a chicken I didn't because when Lily held on to it, it flapped it's wings too much.  We got to get an egg out of the chicken coop and Mom cooked the eggs we got for lunch today. 

When we woke up we went downstairs and we watched tv until Mom and Dad got up.   Then we went outside on the back patio to surprise Mama with her early present.  We got her an outside fireplace and new chairs.  We only bought four chairs, Mama wants us to get one more because we're going to be a family of five soon.  We had breakfast at the fire this morning!  Lili and I played in the trampoline and then it was time to get ready.  We danced at the Mothers Day Tea.  It was a very nice afternoon dancing for my Mama and Gramma, who just got home from her long holiday.  Tomorrow is Mothers Day and we're taking Mama to brunch and I'm not sure what we'll do after that.
