Updated Jia picture!

We just got new updated pictures of Jia today, they were taken this morning at 9:00am China time.  In this picture she is really cute.  I just love her already!

I'm in a straight grade 2.  I really like it there.  I have a lot of friends in my class. 

Jia

Today we took a ferry to Vancouver and we went to Sunrise so Mom and Dad could sign papers.  I am really excited that we are getting this baby.  I'm glad that we picked Jia for her name.  It means beautiful.  We think we're going to China in October. 

Finally a Big Sister

Mama found out today that we're getting a baby girl from Jiangxi Province in China.  I'm from Yongfeng, Jiangxi Province.  When we get her I am going to teach her stuff like how to play with her toys and how to talk.  Mama and I spent 10 hours in the toy room making it safe for a baby, I can't wait to show her.  I can't wait to finally be a big sister.  I love her already.  Everyone is so happy and excited to get another child. 

The amazing weekend

This past weekend we were at a lake for Dad's Birthday and we swam for a long time.  Haley climbed out of the boat and it tipped over and landed over my head.  It really scared me.  Good thing I had a life jacket on.  Mom took a picture of me and Isabel and my nose touched her nose, it was the cutest thing ever.  I got to eat lunch on a very nice beach with a fabulous view.  Mama packed us our own bags so we could eat just us kids.  Rosa was there and at the fire Rosa's Dad Al played the guitar and he played lots of songs that we knew.  He played Puff the Magic Dragon, Walking in a Winter Wonderland, Mr. Golden Sun and way more songs. 

Tina and Dixie enjoyed camping with us and we got to take them outside to explore.  Dixie-poo is an explorer girl.  Tina is timid but she did some exploring too. 

When we came home, Gramma phoned us and then she brought us two birds nests and one of them had four eggs in it that didn't hatch and they won't.  I get to take them to school next year in grade 2 for show and tell. 

I made three new friends at Miracle Beach, that was fun and Mama didn't know I could get to the top of the monkey bars so that was a fun surprise for her. 

Today we swam in our pool that Daddy just put up for us and I'd like to thank him for doing that for us.  It was so fun to get back into our pool.  The water wasn't even cold.

I'm really excited because we just read the Rumor Queen and we might have a chance to get our referral.   I really want to see her picture.  Mama is sooo ready to get her baby.  Dad is happy for Mama that we're getting close.

Paperwork for the baby

Last night Mama made me get rid of some animal friends.  For everyone I gave away, I got to keep one.  It was fun playing in them all.  That's me at the RCMP office  we went there to do some paperwork so we can be ready for when we hear about the baby. 

A day spent with friends

Yesterday Willow & Meiling came over to play and they brought us our pottery that we made at Willow's Birthday party.  Then Daddy got our tiny pool then we got in the pool all together, it was so fun and so cold.  After we got dry and went for dinner, it was so good.  Then we went back home to get the dogs to go for a walk with Willow & Meiling.  We played on the tetter-totters and the swings because there was a playground where we walked.

Last Weekend

Last weekend we made a garden and planted pumpkins, carrots, beans, peas, strawberries, blueberries, asparagus, cucumber, zuchinni, radishs, lettuce, chives, raspberries, lots of flowers and kolrabi.  I enjoyed helping in the garden right up until it started to rain, then Lacie and I went inside.  We watched from the window while I played with Dixie. 

Jade is getting a new sister.  They just got their referral.  Her name is May.  I hope our baby is that cute! 
It's taking way too long to get our referral. 

Isabel

Today Dad brought home his new dog from the SPCA.  She is cute and cuddly and sweet.  Dad adores her.  She has really sharp baby teeth.  I really love playing with her already.  I feel so happy with her.   She is very very sleepy.  She is sooooo cute! 

Mothers Day Tea

Yesterday Lili and I went to Sage's Birthday party.  It was at a farm.  I got to ride a horse without any help and I got my face painted with a picture of a horse.  I got to hold a baby goat by myself and his name was Billy and he ate grass out of my hand.  I was going to hold a chicken I didn't because when Lily held on to it, it flapped it's wings too much.  We got to get an egg out of the chicken coop and Mom cooked the eggs we got for lunch today. 

When we woke up we went downstairs and we watched tv until Mom and Dad got up.   Then we went outside on the back patio to surprise Mama with her early present.  We got her an outside fireplace and new chairs.  We only bought four chairs, Mama wants us to get one more because we're going to be a family of five soon.  We had breakfast at the fire this morning!  Lili and I played in the trampoline and then it was time to get ready.  We danced at the Mothers Day Tea.  It was a very nice afternoon dancing for my Mama and Gramma, who just got home from her long holiday.  Tomorrow is Mothers Day and we're taking Mama to brunch and I'm not sure what we'll do after that.

Dixie in the Apple Tree

Mom let us put our rat's in our apple tree to take beautiful pictures with the blossoms we had lot's and lot's of fun watching our rat's.  After we were done in the back yard, Priya, Meili and Lacie had green paws from the fresh cut lawn so we had to give them all a bath.  Lili and Mama had to be in the yucky green water with them, I'm glad I was just the helper.  After was snack and bed.

Sleepover

Yesterday we went to Anna and Abigail's house for a sleepover.  We had supper at Crystal Jade, after supper we rented a movie (Barbie in the Mermaid Tale).   After the movie Lili and Anna watched another movie while Abigail and I played with our DS's.  We had a snack at Cafe Fifi and then it took all of us forever to get to sleep.  In the morning we went to a playground and for a walk.  Today  our family went to Stoltz for a hike.  Dad let us get Timbits on the way home.  It was an awesome day.

Easter

Yesterday Gramma and Grampa and the puppies came over for Easter.  After Gramma, Grampa and the puppies  left we  went to Victoria to pick up Abigail and Anna.  Abigal sat with me in the back and Anna sat with Lili in the middle.  We all went to Butchart Gardens to find the bunnies in the gardens. We rode on the carousel.  We all had lots of fun!  After we were done looking for the bunnies we all traded our maps for chocolate or jelly beans.  Then we took Anna and Abigal to meet their Mom and Dad at Crystal Jade for supper.

Bike Riding & Abigail's Party

On Saturday we went bike riding with our friends, it was great. We all had a wonderful time. Lili put a picture on her blog of us on our bikes. Then on Sunday it was Abigail's 7th Birthday. It was a pink poodle party we had a fashion show! All of the girls looked very chic on the Paris runway. We all brought stuffed dogs. I brought a white Poodle and the toy dog's got to be in the fashion show too!

Skipping Club

My school has a skipping club and it starts tomorrow I think I might join. It's going to be fun! It's my first time. Lili went last year. Lili is going to be in the skipping club too. At school I did some calculators for math. My class went outside today to see Spring and then we wrote poems about Spring. When I'm done typing we are going to watch a little bit of t.v. Later I'm going to practice my piano. I'm going to have fun!

Going to Jumping Jiminys

Yesterday we went to our friends house to eat lunch we ate macaroni and fruit for lunch then we got in Penny's van we went to Jumping Jiminys!! We met Mei-Li there, we had lots of fun! We all had fairy bread. Me and Hanna, Lili, Haley and Mei-Li all had so much fun!! But then it was time to go back to Penny's house to pick up our car. When we got home Dad had made supper for the whole family then we played with our rats. We had snack and watched a movie then my Dad brought our cats up to bed and then we read our books and then we went to sleep.

Today we are going swimming with our friends at the wave pool in Nanaimo. Then we are going to a Chinese restaurant. It's our last day for Spring Break and we have school tomorrow and I'm excited.

A Happy Day

Today we went to Larry's house, Lili and I climbed and looked at some rocks and then we found a fort and me and Lili put some stuff in it. I gathered some sticks to put in the fake fire that I made and then Lili gathered two rocks for the chairs. Dad said come on, we went to the thift store and we met Mom there. After that Mom had to go back to work then Dad took us to the beach. We played in the sand. Me and Lili made some sandcastles. I put some water in the moat. 'When we got home we put stuf away and when Mom got home from work we went for a walk. I had fun!

Hi my name is Fei. I'm 7 years old. I have a house with lots of pets. We have a Chihuahua that is named Lacie. Two cats and their names are Maoduke and Jenny. We might go to China and get a new baby and I hope it's a girl. I am going to be happy if it's a boy. We have a big house. I love playing with my rat Dixie. I take Highland dancing, piano and karate lessons. I have an older sister named Lili. I'm in grade 1. I really like playing with my friends.
